SMS Messaging Terms

SiteBrief LLC  |  Effective Date: January 1, 2026  |  Last Updated: July 2026

This page summarizes how SMS text messaging works on SiteBrief — how you opt in, how you opt out, and what messages you can expect. It restates the SMS provisions of our Terms of Service (Section 5) and Privacy Policy (Section 4), which govern.

1. Program Description

SiteBrief sends transactional and operational SMS messages only: project report notifications, client portal delivery links, identity verification codes (one-time passcodes) used for electronic sign-offs, and, where enabled, a limited number of automated reminders about a report awaiting sign-off. Reminders follow a capped schedule, are not sent during local nighttime quiet hours, and stop permanently when you reply STOP, sign off, or the reminder limit is reached. SiteBrief does not send marketing or promotional SMS.

2. Opt-In (Consent)

By providing your phone number and creating an account, you expressly consent to receive SMS text messages from SiteBrief LLC, including messages sent using automated technology, for project notifications, client portal delivery, identity verification, and automated sign-off reminders. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchase.

Clients: if you received a SiteBrief text, a service provider you work with entered your number to send you a project report. Your report and verification messages come from SiteBrief on that provider's behalf.

3. Opt-Out

Reply STOP to any SiteBrief SMS at any time to opt out. You will receive a single confirmation message, after which no further messages will be sent unless you re-opt in. Opting out will limit platform functionality, including real-time notifications and SMS-based identity verification for sign-offs.

4. Help

Reply HELP to any SiteBrief SMS for assistance, or contact support@sitebriefapp.com.

5. Message Frequency, Rates & Carriers

Message frequency varies with your project activity. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Privacy

We do not use your phone number for marketing, and mobile phone numbers and SMS consent data are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are shared with our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) solely to deliver the messages described above. See our Privacy Policy for details.
